Online Safety and e-safety Programme

Out ROBOT e-safety programme is robust and fit for purpose.  It prepares children for later life and the potential challenges they might face.  This includes:

  • Asking for help
  • Breaking the barriers between the virtual and real world
  • Images and other media
  • Sharing and accessing content
  • Computer game addiction
Mr Justin Lee is our Online Safety Lead.  He is a certified CEOP Education Ambassador trained by the National Crime Agency to deliver learning on Online Safety for the children, adults in the school and at home.  This includes routinely running Online Safety sessions for the adults at home.
Monitoring and Filtering at WISAN
At Walter Infant School and Nursery, we have procedures for monitoring and filtering the data the comes in and out of our school.  This includes the use of technologies that use the internet or other online data.  This forms part of our safeguarding and online protection policies, and complies with Keeping Children Safe in Education.  The document below has an overview of our procedures, responsibilities and practices to ensure everyone uses the internet and technology safely and responsibly at Walter Infant School and Nursery.
