Walter Infant School and Nursery is unique! We are a big school for little people; we have over 300 children aged three to seven! This is an exciting place for young children to learn and succeed; every child is valued as an individual and our dedicated, creative and hard-working team are committed to ensuring that all our children achieve academically and enjoy learning new skills and discovering all about the world around them.
Our children are nurtured and well cared for; we pride ourselves on putting the safety and the well-being of every child at the centre of everything we do. Our children build positive and rewarding relationships with each other and the adults in school; we foster and promote the values of respect, kindness, empathy, honesty and resilience, encouraging all children to take responsibility for their behaviours and actions. Walter Infant School and Nursery is a happy place to be.
We work together to provide a stimulating environment with a wide variety of opportunities and activities to make the teaching and learning fun, interesting, exciting and memorable.
